Colorful Wedding Palette Collection

My favorite thing about floral design for weddings is bringing the Bride and Groom's vision during the planning process to fruition on their wedding day. Seeing the happiness that the flowers bring to the Happy Couple on their special day is the absolute best reward.

Anna and Jim's Wedding at their Private Residence in Virginia

Photography by: IG Imagine Photography

This lovely bride loved that her wedding flowers included four different types of gorgeous Roses, along with textural elements like Dahlias, Yarrow, Gomphrena, and Pepperberry. An extraordinary ceremony backdrop, these 8-foot Floral Towers incorporate fresh and faux floral and greenery, creating a brilliant Fall backdrop for their intimate wedding ceremony. Lush floral table centerpieces were set in raised gold compote dishes. Tall taper and votive candles created a wonderful flickering ambiance. Fresh Maple leaves were incorporated into the fireplace mantle design and the Sweetheart Table garland to highlight this couple's last name signage. Loosely laid Eucalyptus fronds were tucked in around the candles to complete the tablescape.

Abbi and Steve's Wedding at Dirty Habit Restaurant inside Hotel Monaco, Washington, DC

Abbi and Steve had a fantastic Fall-themed 'tiny wedding" at the Dirty Habit Restaurant and Patio in DC. The ceremony was staged in front of a fireplace with two beautiful floral Magnolia Tree Alter Arrangements. This gorgeous ceremony backdrop was created with two custom built Floral Magnolia Tree Alter Arrangements that have a combination of lovely fresh and faux floral and foliage.  The Bride's chosen 'Carpe Diem' orange roses and exquisite Dahlias drove this unique Fall jewel-tone palette of light orange, coral, and burgundy with blush and her favorite white Anemones created a beautiful hand-held bouquet design that was later displayed at the couple's Head Table. The Groom's Boutonniere was elegantly done centered by the lightest blush rose and based with Spray Roses, Astrantia, and Confetti Kalanchoe.  Loved creating this romantic Head Table design at the couple's Wedding Reception at the Dirty Habit DC Restaurant.  set the mood for an evening of enjoyment.  This whimsical reception table received loosely laid sheer fabrics and scattered sprigs of Eucalyptus with floral tucks and votive candles with flickering flames.  The couple's decor theme was continued at the Cake Table with loosely laid Eucalyptus and tucks of jewel-toned flowers.  12 Bud Vases carrying the Fall-floral theme were positioned throughout the Cocktail Tables, Lounge Areas and the Cake Table creating a cohesiveness in tone throughout the event.

This couple created an amazing "Music Festival" concept for their rustic wedding at a barn venue.  We devised an exceptional terracotta, burgundy to ivory floral palette with lots of Pampas Grass and dried elements, the Bride's favorites.  This lovely floral palette combined beautifully in the bridal and bridesmaid's bouquets which later were placed as table centerpieces among with lots of other personalized decor at the reception. This couple attended to every detail with great looking terracotta suits and dresses for the Groom and his Groomsmen and women.  I used fantastic sunset orange Madeira Spray Roses for the gentlemen's boutonnieres which coordinated beautifully with the peachy orange Country Home Roses in the ladies' bouquets.  A trendy triangular ceremony arch asymmetrically constructed with an upper left Floral Swag and a lower right cachepot arrangement. A lovely backdrop display for the couple's vows during their ceremony.

Meghan and Frantz's Wedding at St. Francis Hall in Washington DC

It was wonderful working with a Bride and Groom who absolutely love vivid Fall colors. They wanted the brightest oranges and reds for their wedding flowers including interesting textural accents like Pincushion Protea. So proud of the way the Groom's Boutonniere turned out with the most special Caberet Rose accented by interesting textural elements like beautiful feathers. I like to highlight the Groom's boutonniere by distinguishing it from the other bridal party boutonnieres. Creating a detailed feature-rich set of Boutonnieres, Corsages and especially two Flower Girl Headpieces is truly what distinguishes my floral artistry.  All of the details were well thought out and executed from the Bride's stunning bouquet to the scalloped floral arch sprays, the lovely floral chair bouquets for the ceremony, and the abundant floral compote centerpieces.  We created an opulent vibrant aesthetic that picked up the energy of the Fall season with style and class.

Courtney and Dylan's Wedding at 48 Fields Farm, Leesburg, Virginia

This beautiful bride and groom chose a palette of white flowers with deep red roses as the highlight creating a vibrant display that perfectly accented her wedding day with style.  They had long rows of connected reception tables with a unique greenery garland that extended down the center of all of the tables.  Gold votive candles were tucked into the greenery garlands creating a flickering candle ambiance during the event.  We prearranged for their ceremony backdrop Moongate Arch to be repurposed upstairs behind the Sweetheart Table, another really nice touch. At the front of the Sweetheart Table was a beautiful floral arrangement and draping greenery garland set atop a custom table linen chosen by the bride.

Michelle and Brad's Wedding at a Private Residence in Northern Virginia

This lovely bride chose colorful Orange Crush Roses, red-violet Calla Lillies and the textural deep burgundy Scabiosa for her Microwedding and home-based reception. Each of the females guests at this MicroWedding received a wrist corsage gift when they arrived. What a beautiful way to welcome your guest to your wedding. Have them join in!  The Groom's boutonniere was perfectly coordinated with the overall wedding theme to distinguish him on his wedding day.  The Groomsmen looked dashing wearing these boutonnieres as they supported the Groom on his big day. Repurposed from display at the ceremony, these centerpiece arrangements looked fantastic on the dining tables at the reception.  These 3 centerpieces were moved from ceremony display to the reception tables for this Fall Themed Northern Virginia Microwedding.

Caitlin and Zach's Wedding at Rust Manor House, Leesburg, Virginia

This lovely bride chose a gorgeous range of pinks for her color theme. Peonies, roses, spray roses and dianthus were the main floral choices for this late May wedding.  This discerning bride had her heart set on a cascading bridal bouquet in a hand-tied style with the natural stems wrapped with a smooth satin ribbon.  The groom, groomsmen and father of the bride were well-dressed with these intricate well-made boutonnieres that held up perfectly during the rigors of the day.  The bride and groom looked exquisite with carefully chosen lux florals that beautifully accented their style and their special day.

This gorgeous ceremony backdrop was created by hanging two Floral Swags at the corners with beautiful fabric drapery at the roof and posts.  Two large urns set in front are filled with tall centerpiece floral arrangements that can be repurposed after the ceremony to the reception. A lovely combination of Free Spirit orange gold Roses with light pinks, ivories and pops of Hot Pink vibrantly blends well in the two Ceremony Arch Floral Swags that highlight the Chuppah ceremony backdrop for the main event of this wedding day.  Welcome your guests to your wedding with beautiful clear acrylic signage tastefully draped with greenery and flowers.

Marijana and Edgar's Wedding in Virginia

Photography by: Unknown Photographer and CPK Floral Designs

Look at that big smile when I delivered Marijana's bridal bouquet!  The bride and groom's wedding was postponed and modified quite a few times during our planning process so I was filled with joy to see them so in love and fulfilling their dream of joining their families together.  I think their entire family got married that special day!  The bride's bouquet combined her love of red and white Roses with deeper reds and blue greys that reflected the beauty of the Fall season perfectly.  The Groom's boutonniere is such a special way to create a cohesive look with the Bride's bouquet.  We chose a red Rose for the focal flower as a nod to the Bride's love of red Roses.

Kim and Tony's Wedding at Baker Bell Tower in Frederick, Md.

Tony and Kim's beautiful wedding bouquet featured gorgeous burgundy Calla Lillies and Scabiosa, purple Stock, blue Delphinium and Thistle in a perfect symbiotic dance to accent the bride's loveliness on her special day.  Bridal bouquets are such a beautiful form of floral art that I love. Created specifically to share with and delight the beholder.  Such a fantastic sunny day location for a micro-wedding amongst your closest family and friends.  A floral garland marks off the ceremony area and 6 floral lanterns light the path for the bride to reach her beloved groom and finally say, I do.  Lavender Gladiolas grace the lovely Floral Lanterns that are exceptionally versatile in being able to be moved from ceremony to reception with ease.  This bride and groom's vision for their wedding day was effectively installed creating a beautiful ceremony location and priceless family photos to treasure.

A lovely combination of white, chartreuse and burgundy floral created a beautiful backdrop for this couple's wedding day.  Floral chair swags create a floral ambiance for this outdoor patio wedding ceremony.  Floral budvases dress up the cocktail tables for Cocktail Hour. Multiple floral arrangements were placed down the center of the King's Table which seated 25 guests for this micro-wedding at Hotel Monaco's Dirty Habit restaurant venue space.

Wedding at Farmer's Daughter Restaurant in Jefferson, MD

Photography by: CPK Floral Designs

Due to the Pandemic, this couple postponed their wedding but then decided to get married privately and host a reception for their friends and family at a Maryland restaurant. The Bride chose to carry a posy bouquet with all of her favorite flowers at her grand entrance to the reception ballroom.  Bumblebee Roses were just the perfect shade of creamy yellow for this creative Groom's Boutonniere. This extra special Sweetheart Table Arrangement was filled with specialty Cafe Au Lait Dahlias from a local flower farm, Linette Cremon Mums and Bumblebee Roses creating the centerpiece for the Bride and Groom's dining table on their special day.  The pretty combination of Cremon Mums, specialty Alstromeria and Bumblebee Roses came together so nicely as a Welcome Table Floral Arrangement.
