Pastel Wedding Palette Collection

My favorite thing about floral design for weddings is bringing the Bride and Groom's vision during the planning process to fruition on their wedding day. Seeing the happiness that the flowers bring to the Happy Couple on their special day is the absolute best reward.

Gabriela and Thomas' Wedding at Riverside on the Potomac in Leesburg, Virginia

Photography by: Kathy Izquierdo

The bride loves Lilac and I was happy to incorporate it into her dramatic cascading bridal bouquet that she adored.  Just look at her beautiful smile walking down the aisle on her wedding day!  The bridesmaids' bouquets in a range of purples and whites were the perfect compliment to their lovely sage gowns.  The grooms' and groomsmen's boutonnieres intricately incorporated the pastel wedding theme. Such a pleasure to work with this family for their wedding flowers.

McKenzie and Colin's Wedding at Blue Bird Manor in Adamstown, MD

This nice couple chose a gorgeous blush, pastel blue and lavender palette of flowers that has become one of my favorites.  The Bridal Bouquet and Bridesmaids' Bouquets were so lush and pretty with the variation in tone of their dresses. Boutonnieres and Corsages coordinated so beautifully connecting the wedding party together with flowers. The hexagon arch onsite at Bluebird Manor was draped asymmetrically with a sheer fabric and then adorned with two large floral sprays.  Greenery swags were added to the framed seating chart and welcome signage.  Later, the Bridesmaids' Bouquets were thoughtfully repurposed as table centerpieces at the reception. All in all a gorgeous wedding and so fun, too!

Chelsea and Freddy's Wedding at Birkby House, Leesburg, Va.

Photography by: Rachel Yearick Photo and CPK Floral Designs

Chelsea and Freddy's beautiful wedding at Birkby House in Leesburg, Va. was highlighted with blush and ivory flowers with blue/green foliages. This color palette was just perfect for creating a romantic vibe that flowed so nicely with Chelsea's other decorative accents throughout the ceremony and reception. This gorgeous bridal bouquet was created on a base of two types of Eucalyptus. Quicksand and Playa Blanca Roses with accents of Waxflower and Veronica. The most fragrant and exceptional Rose Lily was chosen for the focal flower at the center of the arrangement. This luscious romantic combo not only looked wonderful but smelled devine!  The most perfect Playa Blanca Rose and a blush spray rose with Waxflower accents made for a classy lapel accent on the groom's special day.  In this case, the Best Man was actually a young boy, their son, that was going to be wearing a dress shirt and suspenders instead of a jacket. For this situation, I created a smaller sized boutonniere that was just right for him.

Helena and Yassar's Wedding at Leesburg, Va.

Helena and Yashar's beautiful micro-wedding bouquet in Leesburg, Va. was highlighted with gorgeous Quicksand Roses that are typically a dusty light pink but vary in color based on growing conditions at the farm.  Such a lovely bridal bouquet with the bride's favorite blush and ivory accent flowers draped with blue/green Eucalyptus and fern foliage.  A carefully chosen perfect white rose tipped in pink and with blush spray roses and Waxflower accents to perfectly complement the groom's wedding attire.

Silvia and Elmer's Wedding at Rust Manor House in Leesburg, Virginia

This lovely bride and her new husband had a fantastical wedding day complete with such a wonderful multi-tone blush to mauve floral palette.  The Bride chose a cascading bouquet design for her own bouquet and round bouquets for her bridesmaids.  There were creative boutonnieres for the guys and pretty corsages for the Moms.

Fabulous river views behind this circular ceremony arch with a beautiful asymmetrically placed floral spray and upright floor arrangement.   These versatile floral pieces were later repurposed to the Sweetheart Table and Gift Table for an equally lovely display.

Stephanie and Ryan's Wedding at Rust Manor House, Leesburg, Virginia - Art Deco Styled Shoot

One of my all time favorite floral palettes, the greyish whites, the palest lavenders ranging all the way through to deep purples and eggplants. I love adding all kinds of floral textures to create a richness of eye pleasing variety that is unique and memorable.

Joan and David's Wedding at Lansdowne Resort in Leesburg, Virginia

Magnificent monochromatic shades of purples and lavenders were the bride's favorites for this nice couple's big day. I loved including all sorts of textural elements to bring unique visual variety and flair to my Cascading Bouquets and Boutonnieres alike.

New Beginnings Styled Shoot with JeanAnne and Ryan at 48 Fields Farm, Leesburg, Virginia

Photography by: Jerie May Photography and Diana Bellack Photography

This lovely bride chose a hand-crafted demi floral crown with a rhinestone brooch to match her lovely bridal jewelry. How lovely this bride was holding an exquisite hand-tied bouquet in a rounded style with matching demi floral crown. This couple's moongate arch ceremony backdrop was tastefully draped with flowers and greenery flowing down to the base with floral lanterns tucked in for a beautiful flickering light effect.  This couple's outdoor ceremony was gorgeously done with a luscious rustic arch backdrop, chair posies and vase arrangements that were repurposed to the dining room after the ceremony.  This luxury micro-wedding reception tablescape with peach, lavender and white florals over turquoise dupioni silk linens and beautiful china was perfectly coordinated.

Bonnie and Christopher's Wedding at the DC War Memorial

Photography by: CPK Floral Designs

This couple decided to say their vows at the War Memorial in Washington DC.  I was lucky to snap a few nice photos before they were whisked away in their limousine.  Best wishes for many years of happiness!  Bonnie's bouquet of pretty blush pink Secret Garden Roses, apricot Spray Roses, black-centered Anemones and fantastic Cafe-au-Lait Dahlias were her requested favorites.   She looked just stunning in her modern sheer black wedding dress.  The whole family participated in this couple's wedding party.  The sons each wore a boutonniere and the daughters each received bridesmaids' bouquets. The groom's boutonniere was created to be the perfect complement to the bridal bouquet.  Typically, I always differentiate the groom's boutonniere from the groomsmen's boutonnieres by using slightly different embellishments.

Colleen and Pablo's Wedding at Kalero Vineyard in Middleburg, Virginia

Photography by: Bakerture

The beautiful floral selected for this Fall wedding highlighted ivories, peaches and rusts perfectly complimenting the winery's vines and grasses in the background.  The bouquets, corsages and boutonnieres were adored by the couple, their family and friends.

Sam and Jen's Wedding at Mortgage Hall, Middleburg, Va.

Photography by: Kassie Layne, Jennifer Nolan Photography, Alyssa Lydia Images, Jessica Barrett Photography

Sam and Jen had a fantastic wedding shoot at the picturesque Mortgage Hall Estate in Middleburg. Her bridal bouquet was done in pastel peaches, pinks and ivory with ginger bronze accents and textures. His boutonniere was done in an organic style with seedpod textural details and rose florets. We all loved the roses in peachy apricot ''Shimmer" and mauve pink "Faith" with gingery bronze Chrysanthemums and Daisies over grey-blue Eucalyptus combined perfectly in this unique pastel Winter tablescape palette.  This gorgeous tablescape was created with three medium-sized Centerpiece Arrangements, loose foliage garlands and groupings of white taper candlesticks with delicious Gingerbread House desserts highlighted for a Wintery pastel combination of fresh floral and foliage.  This outdoor stone fireplace at Mortgage Hall in Middleburg was creatively draped with organic Magnolia limbs and flowers in a custom-made, 12 foot cascading Magnolia Tree Sculpture.
